There are at least two things that make this an exemplary photo: The people on the ground, which give a sense of scale; and the fact the elephant and the people are going opposite directions, which gives a point of interest and a certain tension...
All in all, this is very well done...you have a talent for composition, my friend!
Ya... though its a common sight in India, it always leaves one in Awe... The Majestical Stance of the Pachyderm is a sight to be seen.. But the mammal feeds at least Ten Sadhus who accompany it... :-)
